Bus Etiquette, screwed by a maths paper and sunday markets

Kind of a really melancholic week this was, there were the good days and there were the not so good, its Tuesday the second day of the week and it feels hella weird, I feel like I have to do something but seriously forgot what...it was something important..hmm, anyways I think everyone might get it when I say that these last couple of days feel like in-between days, the days which are in between of two more important and exciting events. Tch....

As I have previously said before, traveling by bus in Sri Lanka is a quite educational experience, and most of the time very tiring. Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind when going by bus.

1)If you are working or schooling try to go earlier to avoid the Rush hour. [roughly
7am to 8.30am, 1.30pm to 2.30pm, and 4.45pm to 6pm]

2)Always have change available, if the bus is crowded the conductor might take your
money and tell to ask when you're getting off but some conductors are just plain
stingy to give you the balance, so always remember to ask for the balance. [comes
from experience, I get seriously ticked off when I don't get my change, because I
normally rely on that for the next bus I take

3) Good shoes, wear shoes with a good grip at the bottom if you end up standing in
most of the buses that you travel in, its both uncomfortable to you and to the people
beside you when you are slipping and sliding and about to fall down.

4) Pockets, remember to make sure all your valuables are inside your bag and not in a
spot that are easy pickings for the bus thieves.

5) Personal space (mainly for the ladies), my mom regularly tells me 'bout the
hazards of traveling in a bus, ladies I encourage you to make sure that when you're
sitting there are no wardrobe malfunctions, slips or roll ups, if possibly sit with other
ladies and keep aware of who you're sitting next to...

6) B/O, Come on people, no offense but I know that you have experienced such a
situation like the lady next to you reaching for the top pole who is simultaneously
giving or noxious fumes...remember that this is public transport...deodorants are that
expensive....Also smokers please...I personally cant stand the fumes or smoke on
clothes...or excess cologne, perfume, etc..

Oh and by the way ladies...and guys I know you like to play the fool in the buses and

have indirect flirting...for example:

Girl on seat in bus - guy and friends get in bus - girl being shy and polite doesn't
make eye contact with said guys - guys make indirect comments and say stupid
stories to see if girl is listening (like saying machan marai ne {trans : hey dude, no
that's fine eh?} or some really ridiculous funny story) - if girl smiles or gives hint of
listening or paying any attention...well lets say..its gonna be hella embarrassing and
really uncomfortable....

P.S. turn your bluetooth off in the bus, sometimes certain files cant be sent to your
mobile if you haven't restricted access to your mobile via bluetooth...you might end
up with something nasty in your phone.

In other news, I had a maths exam today...one which i really did neglect to study
really hard to...so needless to say...I was screwed...very screwed..but no matter..I hoe,
since the bridging isn't really important, compared to what comes after, we're
supposed to be passed...well that is all dead and buried.

I went marketing with my mum at the malabe Pola {the weekend market at malabe}
now anyone can write poems about the pola, Its so bright and vivid, with so many
vendors shouting the prices of their goods, vegetables, fruits, dry fish, fish, rice, meat
all in one place, loud crowded and an artists paradise...I would have take a few
pictures if my arms hadn't already been occupied by the marketing my mum was
doing.

So here I am, it 10 in the night and I'm really tired, but I have to wait for my nail
polish to dry off, its metallic dark blue if you're wondering, I'm simultaneously
reading Cal Leandros by Rob Thurman...again, the first book nightlife, I've read all
five and I hear that there's a sixth coming out, I also recently finished reading eight
of the 9 Hollows books by Kim Harrison...waiting to get the 9th, Pale Demon..
For All I know there are a whole lotta awesome books being released this year

And how can I even forget..Big Bangs latest album is out this week..and those teasers
they put out..sheesh...hurry up already

Emo rants, Poe and fictional weapons of mass destruction

Sometimes I feel that pretending to be happy is way too tiring, but the thing is, I'm very good at it. Very good at pretending, pretending to be happy, pretending to be satisfied with this life, pretending that everything is alright, damn I sound so emo, but I really need to get it all out, no amount of chocolate is gonna make me feel better when I am in one of my mood sings, damn. I hate not knowing that there is no one that I can rely on one hundred percent....Wait I think i understand my reson for this sappy cow poop...ahh, i've been reading Poe again, hmm, nothing to get you more depressed that Poe and cook..

By the way...I so want my own Sub Zero Canon, now to have one of those would be really really awesome, or an ion cannon, or a plasma cannon, or anything with large destructive power, not to mention a Dimension Tide...Way to many sci-fi movies, cartoon and books.

Ehh, creationg a revolving building isnt as easy as it seems, and having it balanced and no look like the leaning tower of pisa is just as problematic, no matter, I know my team and I will pull through, a bunch of really wacky guys, but definetely saner than me.

Travelling in the bus is pretty much the only independence that my parents even let me have, though entertaining most of the time, there are a few times it can get a bit messy, for instance there was the woman who kept stepping on my foot, excuse me, my FEET with her freaky high heels, then there was the stinky old man, and the pregnant woman =/

One of my besties recently departed to malaysia for his studies, gonna miss him and the wacky things we used to talk about, but I'm gonna congratulate him about the new independence the hot chicks he might meet and the awesome uni life that he will be able to experience

Oh and by the way, I desperately need to get some cash, and absolutely no reason to play french, I wanna ask Nutzy and Hashashin for EVIL conspiring

0Oh hell, I just remembered the zombie ninja song
"We are ninja's who eat brains
We are zombies wielding swords,
we are pretty much invisible
when we travel in hordes
We are zombies who move fast
We are ninja's from the dead
We are basically gonna eat your head.

now its playing in my head, not to mention the robot pirate song..."Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of RAM" These marvelous tunes are a a product of songstowearpantsto

BTW here's Perfect Weapon by Black Veiled Brides who I think are absolutely awesome

And for some reason Youtube has blocked all ways of downloading videos off youtube so my youtube downloader is not worth a crackpot now, so I'm using Freecorder 4 from Appilan which saves the videos which have already been saved in the browsers whatnot, I dont know much about IT mumbo jumbo, just that it works out perfectly fine...

And while everything else is just peachy check out Bi Rain's Hip Song, he definetely pits the hip in the Song ;)

And here is Infinite's Before the Dawn, I dont get the video much but the fight scene's make up for it

I've got to go now, being a good girl and all, I have to get up all early like, so I say Sayonara, and tip my invisible cap towards the Sri Lankan Cricket Team, the awesome SL performers including B&S and Iraj and Bryan Adams who continues to rock this earth and still look fierce

Stay safe kids...mwaz M
