Ehh...Rain...Bad...cold...wet....ARGGH!!!

Yes, the rain is driving me bonkers...more bonkers than usual that is...anyways didn't have updates before cuz I was either too tired or too lazy to be bothered...so had lectures today in the afternoon and the bus ride was surprisingly uneventful...except for the part where there were two guys who got on the bus one with an accordion and the other with one of those long drums..I couldn't make heads or tails of what they were singing.....and at the end ey api gayana kale Jothipala mahathmayage geethayak," {trans: We have just performed a song by Master Jothipala}...Well I kinda zoned out the moment they said Jothipala...sorry but my music is portable...IPOD BABY!!!!

So watevah..

Well, I was at the campus around half an hour before the lectures began...and unsurprisingly the doctor and the count were there..{Frankie had gone to Transylvania...sort of a monster's reunion}...I also met the resident musician...he and the doctor were in talks as to how to hit the bullseye...unfortunately due to unforeseen obstacles, their arrows didn't have enough K.E. to achieve maximum range and efficiency and also due to the fact that the target was a couple of inches taller than expected, the plan was put in the freezer....The count also made an appearance with...umm how should I put this...we shall temporarily call him...THE SPONGE...the doctor said he did have quite a healthy attraction to everyone's favourite fry-cooking sponge...

Also we must note that the electrical batch had a really unhealthy attraction to the doctor...well I know that the doctor is quite charming {wink, wink} but that doesn't mean that you have to keep throwing rocks to get his attention...che, they couldn't even get their aims right, where were the basic rules of projectile motion used..:P...there doesn't appear to be enough girls to let their frustration out upon...

And when I asked my dear, royal, respected senior batch rep on what to write...he {and the doc} said I should write about bad luck, what gloomy thoughts people, eat some ice cream, drink some coke, sing a wacky song, listen to Pink then cry like a baby till you feel better....Or just listen to Bad Day by Daniel Powter, works everytime for me {if u wanna calm down}, but if you want to feel like killing something I suggest some Papa Roach, and Avenged Sevenfold.

Well maths was maths...this translates into...the lectures says A, B, C, D...but I hear it as %^$%^&#$....so I have to wait some time before my brain decides on what the maths sir actually said and what it means...and due to the fact my brain power is low, it lags, so thinking time is very slow, I need an upgrade...maybe I'll install a usb port on my neck, like that movie..

Anyway, it was raining as I went back home and let me say this, the rain isn't always all apples and pears, and it isn't  even close to how Freddy Astaire described it...I reallly didnt want to dance in the rain, because of a couple of reasons, a) my jeans were dragging, b)my shoes were like mini boats, c) the tazi drivers would have thought I was conky...

Note to self singing in Korean on the bus is inadvisable, however quietly you say it..

For my body, I think Sleep must be optional, yesterday I went to sleep at 4 in the morning, got up at 7 (morning)...and even yesterday night I went to sleep somewhere 10 and only fell asleep after sometime...I really need new pillows, my current one's feel like cement bags...

I was cleaning up my room today and found my old Chemistry and Physics Past papers and books...for some really strange reason I didn't want to throw them away...even though they did give me plenty of headaches back then...

I'm an anime addict, namely Black Butler, Death Note and Bleach to name a few....Death Note is totally awesome if you're into crime thrillers, with a pinch of the supernatural and Bleach, wow bleach is so far out, with epic battle scenes in almost every volume (I watch the anime as well as read the manga)

Currently my obsession being Bleach I cant help but sketch a few of my fav. characters

 Hmmm...I've been thinking 'bout lollipops lately and googled them {shows how much free time I have} And I found an awesome array of stuff...There were also so many songs, but the one that totally caught my eye was Lollipop by Big Bang and 2NE1

To speak frankly, I started being interested in K-pop by finding a random video which just happened to be G-dragon singing A boy live...It was catchy and when I googled his name I was pleasantly surprised by all that I found!!

And by the way If anyone follows A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin, There is a TV series in development for Game of Thrones...a must watch for those fantasy geeks out there (like moi)

God Bless You, Kida....will love and remember you always

Today was definitely not one of my favorite days, one of my kitten's Kida passed away and I was absolutely miserable for the most part of the day, he had been sick for most of this week and always had been on the sickly side, but I knew it was inevitable...I had gone to classes in the morning and I kept Kida outback with my dog Chingy [who absolutely loves cats ], and when my mum came to pick me up after classes she told me my aunt had seen Kida on the pavement outside our house dead...I wouldn't believe it till I saw it with my own eyes, but sadly it was true, my baby Kida had passed and I hope that the Ceiling Cat in Heaven takes good care of Kida, and reminds him that we will love him forever and ever...Messi, Kida's brother was very sad too, I say that because he came and was laying down on my blanket where Kida always slept and he had been crying near Kida when my aunt saw him....

On other news my best friend the Jugster seems to be alive...ze Indian lives...mwahahaha, I couldn't contact him for sometime because of a crappy vodaphone connection, but now I have the number, all I need is a card to give him a call...Hmm, I remember all the good times we share, he was like the Spongebob to my Patrick, the Starsky to my Hutch, the Mayonnaise to my burger ( but he's vegetarian O.o)

anyways...Yesterday I was in a quite riveting conversation with The Count, hmmm let's see we talked about F1 racing, football, why I'm a bit weird for watching this and hoping the last frames actually finish :

Candy Floss and Time Travel

So today I had classes in the afternoon session so I left home around 11 in the morning...it was so hot and by the time I reached the top of the road I was sweating like I had run the 100m's...

The bus ride was surprisingly uneventful...except for the part where the conductor gave me more money than I gave him....Teehee..I got to the campus half an hour before the lecture...and to my surprise I met a few umm...friends who were taking their afternoon meal ( note the fact I didn't say lunch , very fancy people )...It was the Doctor, Frankie and Peter Parker and also a few other unlucky souls who seemed to be drawn to the (love) Doctors inevitable charm....Rawr...and Frankie's undeniable Smexiness and Peter Parker's mysterious allure (he's quiet, he's mysterious, who knows if he has a skintight superhero under all that...hehe engineering student by day..mysterious masked hero by night)..

  Err..I hope these guys don't take the wrong Idea of me...anyways we were talking random shit about why I never do behave like a normal girl, speaking French, debating who looks cuter or who gives out a gay vibe...you know the usual stuff...then I got introduced to the ruggerite, the Frenchman and other very important people at the communal watering hole...

Class was class...angular motion and schtuf...:P...anyways on the way back on the bus...with my fellow colleague Speed..we never seem to run out of things to talk about...Most of the time we were talking there was this lady in purple who kept turning behind...none of us knew her..maybe she heard what we were talking about..O.o...too bad them it was all R-rated..and I cant write any of it here cuz I'm trying to keep this NC-17...

And at some point the bus driver stopped the bus and rand put crossing the road...me and Speed think that it was due to the driver seeing his wifey with his boy toy and he went to arrange a special candlelight get together right after his rounds.*wink, wink*

Then we ended up talking about Time Travel {which is a completely debatable topic between us} Speed says's its possible while I say it is but it also is against the nature of things all natural...with the existence of the Time Paradox and other Parallel universes..and all the other bull...which lead to him telling me about us being in the present and one second later being the future and when we have passed that one more second our future is now our present...which also lead to the ultimate conclusion where I decided that Science students can never leave their scientific theories in class... eugh

Now I have to watch the time traveller's wife due to the fact that Speed is making me do so...eugh, hope I don't fall asleep...and I have to watch Dostana...for just the moment to see John A. and Abhishek B. kiss....heard its funny

Which also leads me to talk about the first Indian gay movie..*unta giya kala*...Its called "Dunno Y"  weird

anyways this post seems to have a lot of "queer elements" as the doctor would say...so I shall proceed to post some less gayer facts and schtuff...

Yah...So so...oh yeah..my sister wanted me to talk about POTC...definitely one of my favourite movies which leave me quoting the characters...me, Nutzy and The Hashashin went on a pirate craze a couple of weeks back and we're still knee deep in it...Johnny Depp is an awesome Jack Sparrow, while Davy Jones has to be one of the coolest movie monsters out there...But through the whole thing I cant help but hate Elizabeth..played by Keira Knightly...WTH, she's ruining the lives of Jack Sparrow, Will turner, Commodore Norrington...etc. She gets to kiss all of them, including Anakin Skywalker in Star wars...:(

Anyways...other than that all I have to say is that I am hungry enough to eat a cow....a purple cow....

To Sam or to Dean that is the question....and Dutch goth bands!!!

Hmm...I was talking to a friend [ the black crow] who also happens to be one of my chief conspirators in my bid for world domination when we ended up talking about music...this normally happens in our conversations...we either end them by talking about, music, movies or inappropriately dressed women/men....Teehee

Anyways, the bands that I want to introduce  are Within Temptation and Red....Both are awesome and don't hesitate to download a couple of tracks to try out...
Within Temptation is a dutch band, the lead vocalist is female and he voice is literally like ice water on a chilly day..It gives you the shivers...:)

As for Red, also an awesome rock band, I just heard of it today but I know for certain, that the black crow has really good taste in music...

K-pop and M. Night Shyamalan?

Hey again everybody...yeah 2 posts in within 24 hours...well thats how I roll...
Well I'm sitting in my living room right now and listening to Owl City's To the Sky the soundtrack from the movie The Legend of the Guardians...Awesome movie, great CGI and a must watch, it's based on the famous Guardians of Ga'hoole Series by Kathryn Lasky.

From what I've heard the movie isn't extremely accurate by accurate enough, at least it wasn't made by M. Night Shyamalan, seriously, I used to tolerate his weird and wacky movies like the Village, Lady in the water and etc, but I can't bear to see anymore movies made by him because of what he did to the avatar movie..I was like Totally WTF, within the first 15 minutes of the movie { Sokka's way too serious, Katara's so-so, Aang's like an old man and Zuko is a bleeding Rastafarian disgrace.

Now where was I, yeah the living room, and I'm trying to do something about my self development assignment, funny how the only way I actually get long assignments and essays done is by listening to music and multitasking, If i remember correctly it was Adam Lambert's album For Your Entertainment that actually got me a Distinction on my IT Assignment...   

 Just hope that my brother comes home today, he rarely visits..but when he does we have fun :P
plus I want to introduce him to the wonderful world of K-pop and K-rock since i'm kind of listening to that now ( 2pm, SHINee, SuperJunior, SNSD, BEAST, The TRAX, G-Dragon from Big Bang, etc)

Ohh Lemon Scented!!

This blog is a result of a promise I made to myself to procrastinate less and act more often....

Lets start with the basics...I'll be blogging about everything and anything I really want to get off my chest...or mind, whatever...So today...Ze topic is buses in Sri Lanka.....

As a student and a fellow commuter I have to agree that the buses in Sri Lanka are a part of our culture, no where in any other country will I ever be sure to see so many people of so many different backgrounds stuffing themselves into a bus early in the morning to avoid the rush hour other than Sri Lanka...


Psh...You also have to be uber careful that you don't run into perv's...My mum makes it a routine habit to tell me to get a seat with a lady and sit on the window side to avoid "bad" men...chhh...like I don't know..

Its also a place to observe people...seriously , I saw this lady with a purple handbag with some fake white, maroon and brown wool on it and all through the bus ride I was trying to imagine a purple cow...with white and brown polka dots, then there was the time I sat right in front of a man who kept talking very loudly in the bus into his phone....by the end of that ride I knew more about his Sister, his bike and Indian bikes than I'd really care.

And then there are the times that you end up hanging on the outer railing of the bus like a skinny left to dry on a hanger...yep, there is no bus culture in the world like Sri Lankan bus culture....:)

Hmm...Even I end up being stared at...seriously people should be more open minded....haven't hey seen spiked bracelets and funky hair...no one stares when I wear a frilly blouse and trousers..only those who they think are different...

On another note does anyone know where I can watch Iris the Korean Spy Drama with English subs...trying to find a good link that isn't broken.
